GAS CHARGRILL

Grilling is a natural way of cooking. Thanks to its qualities, lava stones recreate traditional grilling with a more precise control of temperatures, easier cleaning and more safety for the operator.
The grill is completely made of stainless steel and is shaped so that the operator can work on a large surface suitable for different kinds of food (such as meat, fish and vegetables).
The incline makes fat flow away naturally to a large collection drawer.

GAS STOVES

Cooking directly on the flame or sautéing food is an essential need for all chefs in preparing traditional dishes.
Thanks to their full and rounded design, the cast iron or stainless steel pan supports create a unique worktop where it is possible to move pans easily.
The high thickness guarantees a long duration and resistance while also making cleaning easy.
The 3.5 kW, 7 kW and 12 kW cast iron burners are guaranteed for life.
The high energy efficiency allows a gas savings of at least 30% per year compared to traditional burners.
The burner drip trays with rounded edges are completely removable so that maintenance and cleaning can be carried out easily and efficiently.

GAS SOLID TOP

It’s ideal for recreating tastes and traditional ways of cooking. The indirect distribution of heat facilitates the creation of sauces and food that needs to be cooked slowly and at a constant temperature.
The large, completely smooth surface make using any kind of pan easier, even a very large one; moreover, it can be used as a board that keeps food warm. The internal coating is made from high insulating refractory material that concentrates heat in the plate’s central area and is greatly comfortable and safe for the Chef.

ELECTRIC COOKERS

Equipped with cast iron square plates with a 300 x 300 mm surface of 4 kW each, electric stoves reach 400° C and are easily adjustable thanks to the selector that activates 6 different concentric areas of power. This direct temperature control system ensures high energy savings and makes these stovetops perfect for keeping food warm and boiling large amounts of water. The heating components are tight fixed on a top pressed in a unique piece.

INFRARED AND INDUCTION COOKERS

Thanks to their completely smooth surface, cleaning is fast and efficient with no need for aggressive cleansers.
The pyroceram thickness, equal to 60/10, and the precision in adjusting temperatures allow one to work safely. The tops reach 500° C in a few seconds and are equipped with a pilot light on the top that signals the presence of residual heat up to 60°C.
In the induction stovetops, energy saving is ensured by the immediate reaching of maximum temperatures in the cooking containers, even if the top is completely cold.
The high energy efficiency is given with the lack of thermal dispersion and consumption that is reduced by more than 30%.

ELECTRIC RADIANT HOTPLATE

It’s ideal for recreating tastes and traditional ways of cooking.
The indirect distribution of heat facilitates the creation of sauces and food that needs to be cooked slowly and at a constant temperature.
The large, completely smooth surface makes using any kind of pan easier, even a very large one; moreover, it can be used as a board that keeps food warm.
The electric solid top is equipped with 4 independent zones whose temperature can be adjusted independently.
The desired temperature is reached  more quickly, thanks to the irradiation heating system which also contains thermal loss.
A hole on the top allows for the drainage of liquids and facilities cleaning operations.

BOILING PANS

Available in the gas or electric versions with indirect heating for cooking thicker foods, such as creams and sauces.
The AISI 316 steel tank (150 l of capacity) is highly resistant to salt and sauce corrosion and can be even used by inserting baskets for cooking large amounts of vegetables.
Cleaning and maintenance are easy, thanks to the rounded edges and the draining tap that can be removed easily.

TILTING BRATT PANS

Made completely of an AISI 304 steel tank, thickness 20/10, with an 80 or 120 L capacity, the tilting pans allow different types of cooking: it is possible to braise, brown, grill and cook directly on the bottom of the tank.
Its high thickness distributes heat evenly over the entire surface to guarantee uniform cooking and energy savings.
The water load tap on the back side of the top and the rounded shape of the tank make it easy to be cleaned.

GRIDDLES

A complete range of gas and electric griddles with fully smooth, fully grooved, 2/3 smooth and 1/3 grooved plate.
The uniform cooking of food is guaranteed by the Compound steel top: the upper side made of AISI 316 stainless steel is both resistant and hygienic; the lower side of steel guarantees the perfect diffusion of heat to save energy.
The cooking residual oil flows naturally to the front duct and, through a large sized draining hole, is collected in a large drawer.
The Teflon plug, resistant to high temperatures, is optional.

PASTA COOKERS

It’s the ideal equipment for cooking pasta, rice, vegetables and eggs thanks to the quick water boil, available in gas and electric versions.
The water load tap on the back side of the top makes the water flow regulation easier as well as easy for tank cleaning by favouring the elimination of starch deposits left by the pasta. The pressed tank in AISI 316 stainless steel of 40 Lt, has large rounded edges and is equipped with a drilled board to rest large baskets.
The draining board ensures a large and comfortable board to rest things.

All versions, both electric and gas, are equipped with electronic controls so that the temperature can be precisely adjusted (up to 190° C).
The direct heat technology with high efficiency burners guarantees a very quick recovery time and the heat distribution over a large surface prevents oil from being damaged by excessive temperatures.
The pressed tank’s well-rounded edges (18 or 22 L capacity) and the large inclined surface allow the operator to maintain the maximum hygiene and be safe and comfortable while working.
The stainless steel Incoloy resistances positioned in the tank can be tilted to make cleaning easier.

BAIN MARIE

Available in the gas and electric versions, it is the ideal solution to keep warm any kind of food resting in proper containers of 1+1/3 GN, in the single module and 2+2/3 GN, in the double module. Thanks to a thermostat tap, the gas model also allows the tank water temperature to be regulated easily so that energy saving is guaranteed.
The pressed tank with rounded and large edges ensures easy cleaning and maximum hygiene.

NEUTRAL UNITS

Berto’s proposes a wide range of accessories coming in a single or double version, which can be coordinated and integrated to the commercial kitchen to make it suitable for any space and chef.
The working tops can be equipped with a water column, an extractable drawer with a handle and a cutting board or a salamander support, comfortable and linear to complete any composition.
The rounded edges make cleaning faster. Maximum hygiene is guaranteed.
